Join us for an unforgettable evening of acoustic brilliance as legendary Canadian guitarist Don Ross returns to the stage, joined by acclaimed fingerstyle virtuoso Maneli Jamal. A two-time winner of the US National Fingerpick Guitar Championship and recipient of the Walter Carsen Prize for Excellence in the Performing Arts, Ross is internationally celebrated for his groove-based, emotionally rich compositions. His latest album WATER showcases collaborations with musical greats and his ever-evolving artistry.
Opening the night is Maneli Jamal, whose dynamic, globally inspired guitar compositions reflect a life lived across five countries.

Recognizing the value that critique plays in the development of artistic practice, Crit Club offers a free space for artists to gather and engage in thoughtful dialogue surrounding their own and each other’s artwork. 

To participate, attendees must bring finished works or works-in-progress, along with a willingness to receive and provide constructive criticism.

Join the Aurora Museum & Archives for an informal, insider’s view of your community museum! Participants will experience a guided tour of the exhibition and collection spaces followed by an Ask Me Anything session with the Museum team.

This hands-on workshop will guide participants through the process of scanning, organizing, and preserving old prints, slides, and photo albums. Learn how to protect your family history, enhance image quality, and store your memories safely for future generations. No experience needed, just bring your photos and your passion for preserving the past! The program will feature one hour of instruction followed by one hour of working in small groups with the equipment and instructor.

Grimm Tales, adapted for the stage by Philip Wilson
In this adaptation, audiences will be treated to:
Older versions of the famIliar: Little Red Riding Hood, Rapunzel, and Hansel and Gretel
Less widely known tales: The Juniper Tree and Faithful Johannes
Variants of stories they may know by other names: Thousandfurs, the tale of a self-reliant Cinderella who manages her fortunes without the need for a fairy godmother OR a magic tree.

Join the Aurora Community Band and Borealis Big Band, in partnership with the Town of Aurora and York Pride, as we celebrate the 2nd Annual Aurora Pride Festival on Sunday, May 31, 2026, from 1 to 5 p.m. at Aurora Town Square.
